Alexander Rodela, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Alexander Rodela, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and founder of Live Your Best Life Psychiatry. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Purdue University Global in 2024, after earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2020.
Alexander was drawn to geriatric psychiatry because older adults are often one of the most underserved groups in mental health care. Many seniors are navigating major life changes, cognitive decline, grief, loss of independence, mood symptoms, or behavioral changes, yet they may not always have easy access to psychiatric support that meets them where they are.
Coming from a large family with many older loved ones, Alexander understands how deeply mental health can affect not only the patient, but also the people caring for them. This perspective shapes the way he practices: with patience, steadiness, compassion, and a commitment to helping each person feel heard, respected, and supported.
Families and patients often describe Alexander as someone they can count on, someone who shows up even when situations are difficult, and someone who gives his full effort to help patients live with greater comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Through Live Your Best Life Psychiatry, he provides mobile outpatient psychiatric care for seniors in the Denver metro area, working closely with families, facilities, and care teams to support older adults where they live.
